ARCS Charting
Trident Offshore uses ARCS charting software to assist with safe navigation, vessel tracking and route planning. Meridian Chartware's Seatrak ARCS system is used on all projects as a separate display running alongside HydroPro Version 2.12.

We utilise the ARCS package on any long transit rigmoves. Our towmasters find the use of the ARCS package invaluable in planning and monitoring the rig transit in real time by the continuous plot of the rig position overlaid on updated admiralty charts.
The ARCS Navigator chart package forms the central core of the successful towmaster chart system (TriChart) as developed by our navigation department. Details of this system can be found in the TriChart page on this website.
